For those who want to get into stamping designs on their nails, there are many different choices of plates at different price points. I posted about this plate I bought on eBay earlier, but never got around to doing some close up photos, until now. I'd like to make a note to say that trying to take pics of this plate is a bit of a pain 'cause it's like taking a photo of a mirror. Try to take photos of a mirror without getting everything reflected in it!
I took photos of this one outside and I'm sure my neighbours were amused to see me bust out some yoga moves, trying to not get my hands in the shots or show up my skirt. Finally I propped it up on a bench, placed a black bristle board in front, punched a whole where the camera goes and took pics. The following is the best I could do for now.

I took the photos so that there's some overlap, hoping that it makes it easier to see the designs. And yes, the weird thing in the middle is my camera.
I did take more detailed shots, so if anyone wanted to see something more close up, let me know. Some of the designs on this one are exact dupes for Konad, so I'm quite happy with that.
Till next time!

what would you search for on ebay to find something like this? "large plate"? "fauxnad"?
ReplyDelete@Zorbs I'm pretty sure I put in 'large big stamp plate' but you'll find that there'll be a week with no listings for it and then all of a sudden there's a few. You just have to stalk eBay for it. It's soo worth it!
