On to the nail stuff!
I've recently come across some Nubar nail polishes and they've impressed me so far. See my previous entry HERE and HERE. Nubar have nice formula, awesome colours and they boast that their product is cruelty free and vegan and PETA approved. These are not readily available in Canada yet, but I have come across some top coats and base coats at Winners, so that would be the place I'd say to start. Otherwise, you're looking at swapping like I have, in order to get some of these beauties.

So upon further inspection, it turns out that 3 of the above: Wildlife, Reclaim & Earth are from the Going Green Collection (2009). You can see a swatch of Pasadena Purple HERE.
Here's one of my new fave holo polishes, Nubar Reclaim. I don't have anything like it. This is the type of polish that shows how pretty it is in the sunshine, so here are pics taken in the sun. I normally do 3 coats but this one is almost a one-coater, so I did two.

I love this! I actually ordered it a few days ago and received it in the mail. I can't wait to use this. I love greens and holos but this one is so unique. The China Glaze green holos are very light, yellow greens.
ReplyDeleteJill - I think you might love it as much as I do, it definitely doesn't disappoint and yes, it's much darker than China Glaze L8R G8R. I look forward to your comment when you see Reclaim on your own nails.
