On to the nail stuff!
I really fell in love in Orly Halley's Comet and just needed to try a Konad/fauxnad over it, but choosing the right design is tough sometimes, it doesn't always work. I think this one does. So, I started off with Halley's Comet, see the full post on it HERE.
I haven't used my Bundle Monster plates for some time, so this was a great time to try the flower design on plate # 225.
I used Wet 'n Wild Black Creme for the stamping. Photos taken outside on an cloudy day.
This particular design shows a lot of the stamp colour, in this case black, but I think it really works because it makes the colour underneath pop, no?

Till next time!

WOW!!! I love ow this mani turned out!! I haven't used this plate yet, I felt it covered the base color too much. THis is an awesome idea for the base color and design.
ReplyDeleteReally great nails!!!
Nicky
It looks so cool!
ReplyDelete@Nicky Thank you and I thought the same thing, but then saw in on a nail and decided it needed to be tried. I think as long as it's a contrasty colour under your stamp colour, the results will be nice.
ReplyDelete@Anja Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHoly hell, that's amazing. Maybe the reason I never Konad is because I don't have awesome designs like that. Well, that and laziness. Maybe.
ReplyDeleteStunning as always!
ReplyDeleteOMG that is insanely beautiful!!!!!! LOVE!!! <3
ReplyDeleteFantastic manicure!!
ReplyDeleteI like very much your blog, because you always surprise me with your manicures :)
Ooh! I used this stamp with blue underneath and white on top, but I'm loving how the sparkle underneath looks!
ReplyDelete@Noelie Thankies. You can be lazy and 'nad, once you try it a few times, it doesn't take long. The only thing I find sometimes is trying to figure out what colour combos to use so that it looks great with the chosen design.
ReplyDelete@mrsrexy Aw, stop. Ok, keep going. And of course I'm kidding, thank you.
