NOTD: Sinful Colors Green Ocean layered over Studio M Ego Trip

First off, I added a new section up top called NAIL ART, mainly because I was asked a few times to put my designs all in one place but I also like to see my own progression over time. Check it out and leave any comments if you wish, I appreciate them.


On to the nail stuff!


I'm happy to show you a long time lemming of mine. Woot! It's finally mine! I absolutely adore flake/flakie lacquers and this is one of those but not it's not quite like other flakes. I finally got my paws on it in a swap I talked more about HERE. It's none other than Sinful Colors Green Ocean.

Now why is this one not like other flakes? Well, just look at the close up. Most flakes are uneven flakes, if you can imagine Corn Flakes cereal; whereas this one consists of square glitter, hex glitter, triangles and random jagged edged pieces.

I layered it over my previous mani, Studio M Ego Trip just because I thought it would be perfect under it (see it alone HERE) and I am happy with this combination. 

See Green Ocean over black HERE, it looks very different. 

From other photos online I thought Green Ocean was all green, but after trying it myself I saw a pretty blue flash to it on certain angles. I think I like this one even more now that I know if flashes blue. It makes me want to try to get the other one, Red Ocean. For those of you who have access to these, were there more of these?
