On to the nail stuff!
I can't believe more girls don't try Sally Hansen Nail Prisms over other colours. I still have this one available on my BLOG SALE. I mean they're great and all but they're so much more beautiful when layered. I've tried most of them over black, but this one was to be tried over white or something else, or so my Polish polish cousin says. Yep, there you go 'cuz, you get to hear that you're right again, I tried it at your suggestion over white.
I used 2 coats of Wet 'n Wild White, followed by 2 coats of Sally Hansen South Sea Pearl, although 1 coat would have been enough.

Outdoor photos on a cloudy day
The day was dreary so my outdoor photos are kind of sucky, I'm sorry. I really tried to capture the true nature of this beauty but I might have to try again at some point, to show you the flash of pink and blue.
Artificial lighting photos
I wish I could show you that this one can look more like the bottle shot above. Maybe over another colour. I must experiment more!
What have you layered Sally Hansen Prisms over with great results? Share! Please.
Till next time!

Interesting! I've only swatched this one over black and it looked very similar to Lapis Amethyst over black. I'm interested in hearing what other combos work well with it.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! It reminds me a bit of the white Essence polish from the recent Holografics collection. I have many of the Opals that I haven't tried myself.
ReplyDeleteThis color is really beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing! I own it. I am adding "layering SSP" to my to-do list! xoxo :-*
