On to the nail stuff!
I've been just loving Korres lacquers that I've tried so far, one of which is Korres Ultra Violet (see the swatch HERE). Since it was on my nails already, I wanted to add a stamp design to it to compliment it. I've been loving tone on tone stamp designs, so I wanted to do a purple on purple design.

I used Red Angel plate RA-114
(see all Red Angel plates HERE)
I used Sally Hansen Royal Purple Chrome for the stamping. If any of you have any of the old Sally Hansen Chrome lacquers, they're great for stamping, try them!
I really like this Red Angel plate design. It makes it look like a complicated mani that took a long time to do, but it's not. It's easy. I might experiment next time and maybe try to do two different colours for the stamp to see what it can look like.

ReplyDeleteRight!? That's exactly what I was thinking. It does look like a stamped mani. I must try a different colour combo for this stamp.

Thank you. I like this set but there are many different plates to chose from out there, so I'd just look around until you find a set that you'll be really happy with.

Thank you! I just go with an inspiration of the day and see what happens. Sometimes the combo comes out nicely and sometimes it fails. It's all about experimentation.
