NOTD: Astor Quick'N GO No.9 + Ingrid Magnetic Magic No.2 + BM-211

Pin It Now!
On to the nail stuff!

Have any of you done a stamp manicure with a magnetic lacquer yet? If not, then why not? That's exactly what I have to show you today. Since the magnetic lacquers I've purchased have all been one-coaters, I figured they'd be great for fauxnad, and they are.
The two lacquers I used to make this happen are Astor Quick'N GO No.9 and Ingrid Magnetic Magic No.2. While visiting my aunt In Szczecin (Poland) I saw the Astor in her stash and since it's not a colour I'd normally even try, I figured I'd try it. See that mani HERE.
I used Bundle Monster BM-211 plate for the design and obviously Ingrid Magnetic Magic No.2 to stamp with.
I rather like this design and even though it looks like flowers on the plate, it sort of translated into some spider looking thing to me. Aaaeeeee! Spiders! Guess I'll just have to try it in a different colour combination next to see what happens.

Even though this may not be a colour I'd wear, I must admit that this looked pretty on the nails.

Till next time!

  1. I'm glad you mentioned using the magnetics to stamp with because I thought since they are thick or one coaters they would work well for stamping.

I like this color combo alot. I see the flowers and it doesn't look like spiders to me :)

    1. Oh yeah, magnetic polishes really do work great with stamping, I've tried it a few times now, each time with great results. I find that some of the colours and nice a saturated too, a bit more than metallic polishes I've used before, so the results once again differ.

Thank you for the compliment, I am starting to see flowers now too.

    1. Oh that's a good way of looking at it and you're right, you can do all that with them, not just use the magnet. Also, thank you for the compliment.
