NOTD: Avon Orange Creamsicle + Yssy No.3 + BM-202

Pin It Now!
On to the nail stuff!

I know you've probably seen a lot of Easter manicures that showcased pastel colours. I will not be doing that, I'm weird and different and did a neon mani for easter instead, yep.
One of the reasons I did this mani is because I got to see the sight below, my friend holds all her lacquers in the fridge, with lacquer and garlic next to each other, ha! And yes, this is her whole stash. Cute.
To do the manicure I started with Avon Orange Creamsicle (which I would never buy myself but just had to try, it's sooo bright!), then used Yssy No.3 to stamp with, but any white would do.
The plate used for the design was Bundle Monster BM-202
I must admit that I found the design hard to work with, it was difficult to line it up to make sure all the nails are uniform or even to have the dots in the middle of the nail, so I don't recommend this one to those of you just learning to stamp.
Because the dots just didn't line up in the middle of the nail for me on the first nail, I chose to do them all askew.

Even though the colours may not be pastel, I think my nails still look like Easter eggs, don't you?
Happy Easter to all of you! Enjoy your time with family, friends and most importantly chocolate!
Till next time!

  1. I love the orange/white combo. The design may initially have been askew by accident but I think it looks great that way. =)

    1. Thank you. I sort of did it by accident too. I normally put the stamp up to my nail once I have the base and try to envision what colour it would look good in. Sometimes I'm surprised by the combination, because it works out well and other times I'm disappointed, but either way it's always fun to experiment.

  3. That white stamps great! I doubt I could do this design cause I can never get lines to go straight!

I hope you left a couple bottles in your friends fridge...she needs a little more colour in her life! It looks like the orange was bought by mistake! (j/k!)

    1. You know, I thought I was going to do it symmetrically but it didn't end up that one right off the bat, so I figured if they're all askew it'll be ok. It was a bit tough trying to keep them all alined together but I think I did it. I'm pretty sure that if I messed one up really bad, this was not a design where I'd do the nail over again.

Ha, it's funny that you say left a couple of bottles, so far I've added one. I told her your comment and she laughed and said that with me around, there'll probably be more added eventually. I've already put on a duochrome on her, hehe!

  4. Each time you do a new mani I fall in love with you a little more LOL! I love this image from BM but have only used it for Halloween to mimic ribs--this looks great here--I love the orange and white together. Your friends stash is quite cute I wonder what she would say if she saw yours!

    1. Aw, thank you for the best comment evah!

I didn't think orange and white would work well but they do, in my opinion, so thank you.

My friend's stash is cute and small for now. I don't think mine's as big as some of the other girls I know have nail blogs or frequent MUA.

    1. Thank you, you're making me feel better about the fact that I couldn't get them in the centre, maybe one day.

    1. I'm glad to have shown it to you then. I love it when I don't even pay attention to a design on a plate and then I see someone's mani and it looks great and inspires me to use it. Hope you try and like this one!
