On to the nail stuff!
Who would like to see my birthday mani? I know it's been a few days but since I posted My Birthday Giveaway on my actual birthday, so you didn't get to see it. This mani is so out of character for me, but I put it on because my friend in Poland likes red but when I put it on, it was super bright, which meant I added something to it.
Till next time!

I used the unlikely combination of Catrice Marilyn & Me, which is a bright red jelly with red glitter in it and Layla Mercury Twilight. I wanted to try the Layla to stamp with since I've had so much trouble with application of the Layla lacquers without a proper base like Nfu-Oh's Aqua Base, and it worked!
In the close up you can really see the red glitter and I actually like the silver holo over a bright red. I plate I used was Bundle Monster BM-223.
I did not use a top coat to make sure the holo didn't dull, but I also didn't have full sun to show you how holo this one looks. I'm glad I tried this because I think it's a mani I would actually wear again.
Till next time!

looks so cool! I suck at stamping :(
ReplyDeletegood on you :D
ReplyDeleteBeautiful combination!! <3 it~! Awesome that Layla holo's can be used for stamping!!
ReplyDeleteI love the brightness of M&M. Such a gorgeous polish! I was put of buying it because sooo many people moaned about it. I love it though :)
ReplyDeleteThat's really awesome. Wouldn't have thought of the combo ever but it looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteThat looks beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE how these two look together!
ReplyDeletePerfect stamping color! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteLooks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI think I couldn't wear such a red, I don't like the way reds fit my hands..
ReplyDeleteBut honestly this is a lovely result! I should consider to try a stamp with Layla Holos. Maybe I can try with the brand new holos by Pupa Milano. They're great as the Layla are.
