On to the nail stuff!
Models Own created quite the buzz in 2011 with the first release of their Beetlejuice collection with 5 great shades, this is one of them, Purple Blue. I was lucky enough to have found it during my quick 2 day visit to London last week. I snapped it up quickly without hesitation and am glad I did.
Models Own created quite the buzz in 2011 with the first release of their Beetlejuice collection with 5 great shades, this is one of them, Purple Blue. I was lucky enough to have found it during my quick 2 day visit to London last week. I snapped it up quickly without hesitation and am glad I did.
Models Own Purple Blue is a gorgeous purple-blue duochrome glass fleck (as the name suggests), but the purple part is more grape to me and the duochrome ends up being a multichrome at times when the lacquer flashes pink and some gold in different lighting situations.
All photos are taken in natural light on a cloudy day, that's the best way to show a duochrome and yes, I took many photos to show the different colour shift, and I hope I can show them all here.
I did 3 coats like most times, the formula was great and dried in normal time. I didn't bother using a top coat here.
