On to the nail stuff!
I haven't done a zebra stripe mani for a long time so my nails were just begging for it and it is a pattern that I think can stand many colour combinations. Today it will be a purple/white combo for you.
Till next time!

I started with Yssy No.3, two coats but any white can be used, then I used Sally Hansen Royal Purple Chrome to stamp with. Any of the Sally Hansen Chromes are just amazing to stamp with, so I recommend using them.
The stamp I used was Bundle Monster BM-223.
For those of you who like animal prints in odd colour combinations, I'm curious, what combinations have you done? Did you do ones that you ended up thinking looked odd but you still liked?
Till next time!

I fell in love with this mani since the first time I saw the sample pic in my Blogger homepage.
ReplyDeleteThis is a stunning colour combo!! <3
I've never considered white polish. I should begin to, I think :D
I was wondering about a similar mani, using a black-to-blue or a dark rainbow color mix for the stripes, onto the white base.
*runs to conduct experiments*
Aw, thank you so much. I've always liked white and purple together but I've never tried it yet with this pattern. I do recommend a white base with various combinations, like you said maybe a mix of colours on top of white. I shall experiment too! Hope to see some of your results!
DeleteI'm working on my nails to make them long and healthy enough to get my blog started. (And I'm working to take courage to start it soon, too :D)
DeleteI'm not so good at stamping yet, but I'm trying over and over and your pics are always a source of inspiration, as I already said some time ago! A big thank to you, then!! :)
Thank you, that's the best compliment ever to a girl who was in your shoes just a while ago. I started blogging because I was taking photos of my nails anyways to remember the colour combinations and patterns I was doing. You know, just in case one came out good and I wanted to try it again or on the other hand if it was a complete fail, so that I wouldn't replicate it without thinking.
DeleteThe stamping thing happens over time, I've been at it for almost 3 years and only now am I getting to the point where I like some of the designs I create. I think like anything creative, you have to find your way at some point. You will too and one day you'll just decide that it's time to create the blog. I'm sure it will be great.
Thank you, you're always so sweet! :)
DeleteI'll let you know, when the moment arrives. In the meantime, I'll keep on trying :D
Lovely stamping!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeletePerfection as always! I did a mani not too long ago using Royal Purple Chrome too...it IS great for stamping!
ReplyDeleteThanks girly! And yes, I've tried different SH Chromes now and they've all worked great for stamping.
DeleteLove the purple and white together! I'll have to pick up a SH chrome to try stamping with.
ReplyDeleteThank you, I think the two colours can really look good together.
DeleteLooks really gorgeous :]
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeleteThis is such a GORGEOUS pairing! I really like how these two play together! Brilliant you are! ;)
ReplyDeleteWow, thank you! I don't think I'm brilliant, but sometimes combos just end up working.
DeleteDIES FROM GORGEOUSNESS!!
