On to the nail stuff!
I find that I'm always talking about lacquers and never really what to remove them with. Well, during my travels around Europe for the past 5 months, I have certainly found that you will eventually have to buy a remover in a country where you're not familiar with their product. I've purchased some crappy removers not knowing it and have had to throw them out because they just didn't work well.
I also found a really good one that I want to share with you today, but it's specific to Poland, so I guess this post will be for my Polish nail friends. I bought Nailty Zmywacz Do Paznokci and I liked it. It's a acetone-free remover, which I'm normally not used to, but it did the job and did it well.

I bought it in a store in Szczecin called Biedronka and I believe it to be sold only in that store, because it has this printed on the back.
For those who like to see the ingredients, here is the back of it. The first ingredient is Ethyl Acetate, I did some research on it and found out that it is the solvent that dissolves nail lacquer, but it's also known for a nice scent, hence the reason why this remover actually smells nice.
Now, I'm curious, what nail polish remover do you use? What's a bad one that you've had to throw out? What's a good one that you'd recommend? It would be good to know what to buy when in different countries.
Till next time!

I use a boots acetone free remover. It's fairly cheap but it works really well. The smell is pleasant too which is always a plus :P
ReplyDeleteI can't say I've tried that one, but it's good to know about it. Thank you.
DeleteI use nail polish removers from eurofashion.com.pl - I like Mango and Almond a lot.
ReplyDeleteThis one is extremely bad for me because it dehydrates nails and cutlicles a lot and I can't recommend it for anyone.
