On to the nail stuff!
What do you get when you layer a flakie over fauxnad stamping over a magnetic lacquer? This, one of my layering experiments!
What do you get when you layer a flakie over fauxnad stamping over a magnetic lacquer? This, one of my layering experiments!
It took these three lacquers to make this experiment happen.
L-R-> Ingrid Magnetic Magic No.6, Seventeen 81, Essence Nail Colour 3 City That Never Sleeps
For those who missed it, I was sort of experimenting by stamping over a magnetic lacquer in a monochromatic style a while back, see more HERE.
But as much as I liked it, I really wanted to add a bit of something to it, so why not add Essence City That Never Sleeps, a purple jelly based green/blue shifting flake, so awesome!
I'm really loving how all the lines became purple yet you can still see the design underneath. What do you think?
In the close up, you can see that Essence City That Never Sleeps is not just a green/blue flake, but that it has pink microflakes. Click on any image to view larger.
Till next time!

ReplyDeleteHaha, thanks. I'm not trying to kill, just posting what I've done, if nothing else maybe others will like them and try them.

Deletei can't even handle how amazing this is. i wish i had the patience and skill to layer so neatly, you're incredible!
ReplyDeleteWow, you're sweet, thank you. It doesn't really take patience or skill, I was just experimenting and when you do that, your mani will morph, hopefully into something you like. I'm glad you like this one.
