On to the nail stuff!
Today I'm going to show you one of my favourite manicures I have done lately and I write this post at yet another airport in Europe, I believe it's my 10th one..... Right, so even though you see me create stamped designs, I'm not always happy with the outcome, this one I really do like, even though it may be simple. The base is Andreia No.92, see it swatched HERE.
I used this Essence stamping plate for the design. I don't see any markings on it as far as a number or a code goes, so I'm not sure what to call it. Have any of you used this plate? What did you call it?
Oh and I stamped with Seventeen No.81, a silver lacquer.
Personally, I really love how the gold glitters show through the silver lines, but the mix of gold and silver may not be for everyone. Opinions?
Till next time!

Love! Very unique combination!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it! I'm not sure it's unique, I find it to be so simple, but maybe..
DeleteLove the look of this! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI cannot believe this stamp covered your whole nail, the full nail designs from Essence are tiny and don't work for my nail beds :(
ReplyDeleteI really like your manicure, is gorgeous!
Yes, the designs fit my nails. I find the designs to be 'normal' sized I guess. My nails are not small and I've had other brands not fit. I might have to do a comparison of the Essence to other brands with a ruler to show the difference.
DeleteAnd thank you!
This mani is more than perfect! I love the stamping plate design, I have to look up here in my town, maybe I found somewhere one!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope you find this plate, it really is nice.
DeleteThis totally rocks!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteIt might be simple but I do really love it!
ReplyDeleteI own that plate but I haven't tried that pattern yet. I only used the central one after seeing one of your stampings (the zebra one, lilac on white <3).
It was good, I must be honest. I didn't expect a great result with Essence plates, but I've been lucky. A friend of mine had the same plate and hers wasn't that good as mine.
Thank you, I'm glad you like it. I'm glad to have been an inspiration for you to try stamping, it's good fun when it works well.
DeleteI didn't realize there was such a quality difference in Essence plates. The 2 I bought have been good for me, but it's good to know that not all of them are the same. Thank you for the feedback.
It's A-MA-ZING!!!
ReplyDeleteLoved it!!!
And it's YOUR FAULT that I had to spend money that I didn't want to on that Andreia! LOL
Haha, sorry about that, again. I hope you got it, tried it and loved it though. Did you see if they had any other glitters like this one in the line? The store I was at didn't, but now I'm curious.
DeleteLove this combination - your stamping is perfect!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it, thank you.
DeleteAwesome as always!
ReplyDeleteThanks girly!
Deletei love this! color combo is perfection and that stamp makes it look like you did an excruciating striping tape mani!
ReplyDeleteOh, now that I look at it, you're right. I just saw it a simple design, but if I did it with tape, this would have taken a while.
DeleteLooks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI love the mix of gold and slver :]
ReplyDeleteCool design...
ReplyDeleteIt seems I have to dust off my stamping gear - I once bouught several stamping plates from Konad, together with some polishes. But actually the ones tht I used most often were: white, pink, red, silver and gold... I think I'll just have to thow away the other ones - after 7 years I don't think they are any good...
So Andreia works fine for stamping? I remeber the polishes for it have to be quite thick...
It also seems I have to do some more shopping in Essence - I like those plates you have. The pity is that in a shop that carries Essence products here doesn't really have choice - some polishes, lip glosses, shadows, stuff like this. But practically 50% of other nail products from Essence are not available there... :(
