On to the nail stuff!
A while back I was lucky enough to have received an email from my new friend Marta, (check out her blog at Esmalterapia) who gave me some tips on where to find lacquers in Portugal. At her suggestion, I bought a few lacquers of a Portuguese brand that's new to me, called Andreia and I'm glad I did, they're great! Have any of you tried this brand?

Even though I'm not a huge fan of glitter, I knew I had to get this one, Andreia No.92. It's a black base with gold glitter and silver micro-flakes and unlike other lacquers like this, the glitter actually translates on the nail.
I used 3 coats, no top coat, even though I could have used only 2. The formula is great, nice and creamy and it dried fast.
I like this brand so much, I can't wait to try the other colours I got, see them HERE.

ReplyDeleteI told you about those and me, myself, have never ever seen that wonderful polish?? How come??? Now I have to go find me some Andreia because YOU showed me how beautiful it is!!! How messed up is that?? ahahahahha...
Haha, yes, well I try to buy ones that are unique and that I can't get from other brands. I know there are other black based glitter polishes out there but this one was somehow different to me. You should go find it, it's awesome! I'm glad I could show you something, ha~!

ReplyDeleteRight?! I thought so too but I've had glitter not show up on the nail with a black base, it gets covered, this one doesn't. I'm impressed.
DeleteIt seems a starry night with no moon! So lovely :) I love that combo of micro/big glitters. Did you struggle to remove it? Mhm..
ReplyDeleteI only swatched it, so I didn't get to wear it for a full day or anything, so my answer won't really affect the real outcome. I did not experience any trouble removing it though.

ReplyDeleteFrom what I've read about it, the lacquers are hypoallergenic but the formula so far is divine. I recommend this brand.
