NOTD: Kiko Magnetic No.704

Pin It Now!
On to the nail stuff!

I'm sure most of you have had your fill of magnetic lacquers and so have I, but when I visited the Kiko store in Portugal, I just had to pick one up to at least try it, Kiko Magnetic No.704. If you missed it, see my haul HERE. If you do end up buying one of the Kiko magnetic lacquers, you should know that you will have to buy the magnet seperately. I wished for the store I was at to have more than just the lines design, but unfortunately that's all they had.
By the photo you can see that the magnet itself is pretty large, but I'm not sure how well it works when it comes to curved nails. In the photo below you can see that I didn't manage to get the magnet to create the design on my ring finger properly. Maybe it's just me, maybe there's a learning curve. Hmmm...

One thing I should note is that unlike most magnetic lacquers, I did 2 coats of the colour prior to using the magnet, one coat just didn't seem to cover the nail as it has with other brands. I've even suggested it and have used magnetic lacquers for stamping, but I'm not sure I'd recommend this one. I just will have to try it before I do.
Have any of you tried the Kiko magnetic line? Is it just me that doesn't know how to use it?

Till next time!

  2. I've never tried any magnetic polishes but that one has one of the most distinct patterns I've seen of them all!

  3. I'm personally not interested in the magnetic polish trend but I like to see them on people. This slightly reminds me of one I've seen before, looks good.

  4. This must be one of the most beautiful magnetic polishes I've seen. I like when the contrast between the base colour and the pattern colour is this dramatic.

  6. Beautiful magnetic polish! My nails are quite curved and I have trouble getting the design to appear on more than the centre line down my nail :(
