On to the nail stuff!
I'm sure most of you have a favourite indy brand by now and for those of you who don't know of any indy brands, there are many out there that you should check out and give a chance. For those of you who don't know what indy brands are, they are lacquers that are hand made and sold by their creators on sites such as Etsy.com. For those of you who know some, what are your favourite indy brands and/or colours?
Today I want to show you such lacquers made by Lacquistry. I have received these quite some time ago, but because of my travels, I haven't been able to get around to showing them, let alone trying them. I will swatch them in the next little while. I'm not sure if their creator is still selling these particular ones as I understand that she's been focusing on making custom orders, but you can always ask her. Her store on Etsy can be found HERE, and she's also on Facebook HERE.
I must say that I've tried a couple of these and I have been amazed at how awesome they are. Their formula is super fast drying and they covered in one or two coats. I will show them to you all soon. For now you'll have to be happy with some bottle and close up shots.
Lacquistry Twinkling Tree
Till next time!

All the bottles I received lined up:
L-R-> Twinkling Tree, Sugar Plum Soaked In Rum, Happiness Is A Warm Gun, Menorah Lights, Frosty Marrow, Fireplace
These have been sent to me for review.

Great names (Except maybe frosty marrow... :p) I really like Twinkling Tree and Happiness is a Warm Gun. I can't wait to see these swatched!
ReplyDeletewow! these look amazing!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried any of them, they're great but too glittery for my tastes. Anyway, I'm really curious to see them swatched, maybe I can change my mind.....
ReplyDeleteThey look amazing. I love the glitter particles in the Lacquistry Menorah Lights!
ReplyDeleteMenorah Lights is by far the most beautiful. I don't own any Lacquistry polishes of the indie brands I love there are so so many but perhaps my favorites are Elevation, Sonoma Nail Art, Pahlish, and CrowsToes. These are the four of which I want to own every shade they have ever made lol! I have many other favorites though too and it's always fun discovering new ones as well! Lacquistry apparently has a collection that she is working on that will release as soon as she finishes up with her customs but who knows when it will be released.
