Today I want to take the time to fill you all in a little bit on what's going on. I know in the blogosphere, we tend to get to know one another, some on a personal level. We send each other packages, talk about real life issues, even visit and go hunting together. This world really is quite amazing, isn't it?
First off, I apologize for my sporadic posting lately. Some of you asked why my posts are not coinciding with the day they are posted. I love posting something new each day and right now I'm trying to fill in the gaps. Since my return to Canada from Europe, I got a job and it's been kicking my butt a bit a little bit, not leaving much time for this world. I'm having a tough time balancing work life and my life, so any tips are welcome.
Secondly, I know my last Giveaway/Contest ended and I've yet to announce the winner. I will go through the entries and pick one asap. I'm also going to launch my next giveaway shortly. If any of you know of someone who'd like to sponsor a giveaway or contest on here, let me know please!
Lastly, I have had a few inquiries on my blog sale. I am going to have one soon, I promise. Some of my lacquers are still in storage so I have to get them unpacked and I have to take photos of quite a few as well. These things are on top of my priority list right now.
I think that's it for now. As always any comments, suggestions and questions are welcome.
Till next time!

Congrats on your job and good luck :-)
ReplyDeleteIt would be wonderful to make polish passion a job, but unfortunately this isn't always possible and reality comes knocking at our door to remind us there's something to do, there in the outside.
I understand that, you don't have to be sorry for this at all!
We'll wait for you, don't be afraid of that!!
Cheers from Italy :)
You really have no idea how much your message means to me, thank you! You've been one of the awesome nail friends that I've made online and you make me smile even though you're across the world. Thank you for being you!
DeleteYou're always so kind with me! It's a pleasure for me reading your words and learning from what you're doing here, in your little corner on the web. During the time I've been spending as a "polish-reader" since my first comment in this awesome nail community, I've known many lovely people. We may not know how we do look like, but I believe the words people choose to use when they talk or write manage to express so much more about theirselves than everything else could do. In addition, we're all sharing the same passion here: it's a safe place where you can always be sure to find someone who'll understand you and whom talk freely to. Outside from "here" there's life, this is not a job (unfortunately!!) and each one of us has got his/her own priorities. That's life, and life should always be our highest priority. True relashionships won't surely be weakened because of this!
DeleteBy my side, I'm glad I googled something that brought me here some time ago. You're a very nice, lovely and kind girl and you deserve all the best life can give to you! That's it. I'll be "standing" here, however! :-)
Hang in there sweetheart!!! Priorities are unfortunately necessary in this life.
ReplyDeleteI'd be happy to send you a polish for your giveaway if you're interested ;) xo
I only just recently discovered the world of polishes ... I've always wanted/loved pretty nails, been getting acrylic nails since high school - but after discovering Konad in March, my polishes, plates, painting tools, all of it is exploding.
ReplyDeleteAll your followers will wait for you to keep posting!
As far as advice? Hmm... I know that there are different parts of my life that don't all seem to match or mesh. As boring as it can be, I have found that my life seems to work best when I have a schedule to follow. I try not to make anything rigid... like 5-6 cook, 6-630 eat, 630-730 family time, 730-830 kids baths and bedtimes, 830-930 husband time, 930-1030 reading/blogging time, etc. But, with that said, we have a kind of typical kind of schedule, sequence of events that we have found that works for us. The reason I try to keep it from being rigid - I don't want to get mad at myself when I get off schedule, but I still think it's easier to get everything done if I routine it...
Oh, another thing, when you have to work like that - you do less around the house, or at least do it a little less often (dishes every day, sweeping once a week, bathrooms every other week, etc.)
Maybe that won't work for you, but maybe it will. Either way, love your blog and don't feel bad when you can't post :D
