On to the nail stuff!
For those of you who want to try a gradient mani but just don't have the patience to do it, Bundle Monster has created a fauxnad stamping plate for such an occasion, so you should give it a try. I know I did.

All photos taken outdoors on a cloudy day
The base for this manicure is Billie Cosmetics Plutonium Plum, stamped with Sally Hansen Foot Foils Submariner. I'm thinking that I'll have to try some other combination to see how this one turns out again.
In the close up, you can see what this stamp looks like and even though when doing a real gradient technique it looks a bit more smooth, this stamp looks pretty darn good when looking at the nails at a normal distance.
The plate I used for this design is BM-301 from the new set, see it HERE.
Till next time!

i like this combo!
ReplyDeletei tried using this image a couple of weeks ago and it did not go well! that big area thats solid just kept getting the polish scraped out of it, so kudos on mastering that!
Oooh, I like this! Have to say, kinda an easier way to do gradients!
ReplyDeleteFabulous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great combo, I'm usually not too fond of such finishes combined, but here it works really well. I don't have the BM set, but stuff like this makes me want it! =)
