On to the nail stuff!
I know that the zebra and leopard designs are probably used more than all the other stamp designs out there, but they're just so much fun! Here's my neon zebra mani I did, and yes, I wore this one at work, ha! If you missed them, I have done zebra designs HERE, HERE and HERE before. See, I told you that they get used a lot.

The lacquers it took to complete this mani:
L-R-> Sally Hansen White On, Fanny.Z unnamed neon, Yu Xuan #23, Wet 'n Wild Black Creme
I used plate BM-223 for the design.
To clarify how to a achieve this look, I used 2 coats of Sally Hansen White On, followed by 1 coat of Fanny.Z unnamed neon (see swatch HERE), then I randomly sponged on Yu Xuan #23, then finally I used Wet 'n Wild Black Creme and stamped with it, using plate BM-223.
I rather like this combination. The only thing I wish is that the black was more opaque. I guess I must look for another black to stamp with. Any suggestions?
I took the photo below under water because I heard that neons look colour accurate under water (and so do duochromes), but of course there are always water bubbles. Ack!
Till next time!

Awesome!
ReplyDeletebeautiful sponging !
ReplyDeleteLOVE this!! It's like a zebra on fire! I use the Konad Black for stamping, it works the best out of any blacks that I have tried. It's super messy though.
ReplyDeleteI really want to try this! Except my zebra stamp is too small for my fingers hahah, might have to order the new Bundle Monster set...
ReplyDeleteInstead of stamping the image vertical, stamp it horizontal you would need to stamp it twice in each nail but it works ;)
DeleteThese look so so awesome!
