On to the nail stuff!
You know that when I come across something new and exciting, I share it on here, right?! Well, while doing this mani HERE the other day with a neon colour, I thought to myself 'Self, this neon colour works well over white with one coat, so why not try stamping with a neon colour over white?'. I tried it and it worked! Have you tried stamping with a neon?
Till next time!

The base for this mani is Sally Hansen White On, I used 2 coats, then I stamped with Yu Xuan # 23, I showed you HERE.
For those of you wondering why the image in each nail is not nice and crisp the way I like it, it might be the plate, I'm not sure yet. The Bundle Monster plate BM-205 is the one that I had originally replaced, because the etching on this design wasn't deep enough and this is my first time trying the replacement. The result is one you see. At this time (until I try stamping with another lacquer), I'm not sure if it's the lacquer causing the incomplete design or the plate. I will report when I try it again.
The plate used for this design, Bundle Monster BM-205.
In the close up, you can really see how this design did not properly transfer.
Till next time!

I haven't tried stamping with a neon but this looks great so I'm going to have to
ReplyDeleteprzesłodki mani, muszę spróbować stempelkowania neonami! :-)))
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I just got some kleancolor neons I'll have to try stamping them. I also just got bundle monster set 2 after reading about set 3 here on your blog :). But is it just me or are the designs very small? There is no way one of them will cover my thumb nail!! Oh, and how do you get your designs so straight all the time? Mine are all over the place... Any tips?
ReplyDeleteI recently found your blog so maybe you alreday talked about this but what base coat do you use? And any ideas on why when I use seche vite top coat it never stays chip free even for 24h... :/
Lots of questions for you and I have one more :)... which green/golden nail polish are you using in the picture at the top right of this blog??
Thank you fo a great blog!
I have never had much luck with that particular pattern in my BM set. Had the same result as you last time I tried...
ReplyDeleteoh my its just too cute <3
ReplyDeleteLove the neon stamping, I must try it. It almost looks like two colours were used to stamp with, really pretty.
ReplyDeleteI definitely need to try neon stamping. Thanks for sharing the idea!
ReplyDeleteLovely pattern. Maybe I should try it in my (brand new) BM-2xx set...
