Simple Beauty No.3 + BM-216

Pin It Now!
On to the nail stuff!

Do you want to see a stamping fail? Sure you do! It's not just about seeing awesome stamped manis all the time. Today I'm going to show you an idea that just didn't work out for me.

Photos taken outdoors on a cloudy day.

I used a plate from Bundle Monster BM-216 for the design and stamped with Seventeen Supreme No.81.
The base for this manicure is Simple Beauty No. 3, see it swatched HERE
The idea I had for this one was to use one of those funky french stamps and use it vertically, stamping half the nail. I found it tough to stamp them in a way that was uniform on all the nails, so it looks all messy and uneven. Have any of you used the french stamp designs this way successfully?
Till next time!

  1. I like it tough you think it looks messy.
But maybe it'd be better to put tape on one half of the nail and stamp on the other one? I haven't tried it out yet but I can imagine it may create a straight line of stamping.

  2. Great way to use those tip stamps that are otherwise "useless" on my shorter nails :)

  3. Hmmm you could try it out with tape and then roll the stamp out. I generally don't like the french tip style patterns, but this is a great idea for using these! I'll have to try this...
