For those of you who haven't paid attention to My 500 Followers Giveaway, I want to show you another Sensique lacquer, which happens to be sold only in Poland. It's Sensique Indian Rose, from the 2011 Sensique Oriental Dream limited edition collection.

 This may not be a colour that I would normally wear, but when I picked up the bottle, I saw how special it was. This is a great summer colour and although it may be a bit frosty, it has gold shimmer in it that makes up for it, I actually like it on me.

I did 3 coats, as I normally do. The formula is good and the drying time in normal. Look at that pretty shimmer in the close up!

There have only been a few times now that I've seen magnetic lacquers under a fauxnad. I am one of those who like to mix the two styles, so here's another one of mine. I started with Ingrid Magnetic Magic No.06, then used Seventeen 81 to stamp, using Bundle Monster BM-208 plate.

I like this design all together, don't you?

I've always been a huge fan of flakies, as soon as I discovered them in fact and today is one I'll show you that I was happy to have picked up while in Poland. It's the other end of Essence Nail Colour 3 - City That Never Sleeps. 

 If you've missed the previous post, the base for this is Midnight Date and you can see it HERE.

I did 2 coats of this one and found the flakes to be a bit on the sparse side, but still very pretty. I think I'll have to try this one on it's own next, it's a purple jelly base - yum!

So originally I was going to post this mani as I was sitting at an internet cafe in Spain, but I ran out of time to do my description. Today I got Poland and have time, yay! I showed you the base of Golden Rose Care + Strong No.212 HERE and then I added the My Secret flakie HERE and now I added stamping. 

What do you think? Is this stamping design too much over the flakie?

The plate I used to do this design is Bundle Monster BM-221, the stamping was done with My Secret No.121

I would like to take a moment to thank all the new followers that have joined recently. Thank you! I'm humbled to know that you'd like my little blog enough to follow it. I really do appreciate your comments and suggestions, even if I don't get to all of them right away. My excuse for not getting to them right away is that I've been traveling around Europe and I've not always had internet where I've been. I will get to them though, I promise.

I've had a lot of questions regarding my blog sale and I want to tell you that it is closed as I'm not home and my lacuqers are in storage back in Toronto, but when I get back home from my trip, I will hold another sale.

Today I want to show you a magnetic lacquer, one in fact that I'm giving away in My 500 Followers Givaway. For those of you who wanted to try magnetic lacquers, this is your chance, these are great! Here's Ingrid Magnetic Magic No.06, a charcoal/black/silver, so pretty.

 For those of you who like seeing what these lacquers look like before using the magnet, here's a shot of it. It of course is a one-coater, which is great and probably will be good for stamping, but I have yet to try that. You will be the first to see it when I do.

Today I want to show you a lacquer that I picked up on a whim, for someone else and ended up keeping for myself. Why? It turned out to be a one-coater (which I love) and it has a flakie too! Here's Essence Nail Colour 3 Midnight Date - yes, that is only 1 coat!

If you haven't seen these yet, they're those duo sticks with lacquer on each end. In this case it's Midnight Date on one end and City That Never Sleeps on the other. Today you'll only see the one.

 I'm super impressed with the colour, shimmer and the pigmentation of this lacquer. It's wow all around.

I've always liked the look of a purple base with a red/orange/green flake on top, but I think I'm yet to do that combination myself, until now. Here's Golden Rose Care + Strong No.212 with My Secret flake on top (the number or name of which I don't know right now and will have to update at a later time.

I just love the flash of green on these flakes, don't you?

My small haul in Portugal

You know, wherever it is that I go, I will inevitably look for lacquer and this time is no different. I may not have found much while in Portugal but I did find the ones that I really wanted. First off, I found Layla holo's!! Woot! I actually debated getting them all, but they are expensive, so I picked these 4.

 You cannot imagine how happy I was to have found a KIKO store! I honestly thought that I'd be left with buying some of these through online stores or getting them in swaps. I almost leaped when I saw an actual store I could walk into.

The more I try Golden Rose lacquers, the more I like them. Here's the latest I picked up and liked, Golden Rose Care + Strong No.212. It's a dusty medium purple.. but it's special.

 As usual, I did 3 coats, the drying time was normal and the formula was good. If from the first couple of photos you thought that this is just a dusty purple, look closer ... it has pretty golden micro-glitters in it too. Ahhhh, love it.
