YES LOVE glitters

Pin It Now!
On to the nail stuff!

For those of you who are new to my blog, you may not know, but I live in Canada and this past December, I went onto a very long visit with my family in Europe, I'm still on that trip, now in Poland.

While I was in Spain though, I posted this haul HERE, which did not include the glitters I want to show you today. The reason is because these aren't for me, I've been hunting glitters for a friend and a fellow blogger, over at Canadian Nail Fanatic, you should really check out her blog. She does a lot of awesome stamping!
Right so when I saw these glitters, I thought they were unique and interesting and had to pick them up for her. She told me she's received them now, which means that she might swatch them, so if you'd like to see them, check out her blog.
I was wondering if any of you know anything about these glitters? Have seen them? Have them?

NOTD: Catrice Marilyn & Me + Layla Mercury Twilight + BM-223

Pin It Now!
On to the nail stuff!

Who would like to see my birthday mani? I know it's been a few days but since I posted My Birthday Giveaway on my actual birthday, so you didn't get to see it. This mani is so out of character for me, but I put it on because my friend in Poland likes red but when I put it on, it was super bright, which meant I added something to it.
I used the unlikely combination of Catrice Marilyn & Me, which is a bright red jelly with red glitter in it and Layla Mercury Twilight. I wanted to try the Layla to stamp with since I've had so much trouble with application of the Layla lacquers without a proper base like Nfu-Oh's Aqua Base, and it worked!
In the close up you can really see the red glitter and I actually like the silver holo over a bright red. I plate I used was Bundle Monster BM-223.

I did not use a top coat to make sure the holo didn't dull, but I also didn't have full sun to show you how holo this one looks. I'm glad I tried this because I think it's a mani I would actually wear again.

Till next time!

NOTD: Wibo Express Growth No.355

Pin It Now!
On to the nail stuff!

When I saw this beauty in a local Polish drugstore, I had to have it and it's one that I want you to have too so it's of the lacquers in My Birthday Giveaway. It's Wibo Express Growth No.355, a metallic blue that's oh so awesome.
Even though this one's a metallic, it's not a one-coater, but two coats get opaque coverage. The formula is good and dried in a normal time.

All photos taken outdoors on an overcast day.

My Birthday Giveaway

Pin It Now!
It's my Birthday!
And since it's my Birthday, that special day that happens once a year, I did some nail polish shopping for myself and for one lucky winner. Yes, (since I didn't get even one gift), I want to make one of you happy. Woot!

My Birthday Giveaway includes 4 Polish polishes by Wibo
+ a bonus - MaX Factor Fantasy Fire!

Since the start of my visit with my family in Europe, I picked up some awesome lacquers, including the ones I'm going to give to you by the Polish brand Wibo. If you haven't seen these before, I will post swatches in the next few days. Here are bottle shots.

Wibo Express Growth No.49
An emerald green with gold micro flakes (see swatch HERE)

Wibo Express Growth No.345
A purple/green duochrome (see swatch HERE)

Wibo Express Growth No.354
A magenta with blue micro shimmer (see swatch HERE)

Wibo Express Growth No.355
A medium blue metallic (see swatch HERE)

As a bonus I want to include none other than MaX Factor Fantasy Fire!

I know Fantasy Fire is super hard to find for those who are not in Europe, so since I found it, I want to share it. And if you don't know what it is, do a google search and get out from under your rock! This one has the same colour shifting shimmer as Clarins 230 aka Unicorn Pee. Aaaaah, such prettiness!

On to the nail stuff!

As I'm still in Poland, of course this means that I continue looking for lacquers and I found a few the other day. I got some from Wibo, a Polish polish brand that I found in Rossman (drugstore).  I'm thinking of having these for a giveaway, they're pretty neat and not available to a lot of you.

NOTD: Golden Rose Paris No.145 + Sally Hansen Purple Chrome + BM-210

Pin It Now!
On to the nail stuff!

How about another tone on tone stamp design? What's that? You'd love to see one?! You got it! Here's the latest just for you, a very subtle look that shows up better in some angles and almost disappears in others.
The design is off of Bundle Monster plate BM-210, which I used in my gradient mani HERE and I think it's really neat, how different it looks than this current mani, even though it's the same design.

To create this look, I used Golden Rose Paris No.145 as the base and Sally Hansen Purple Chrome to stamp with. I know you've been seeing al of this lacquer being used for stamping, but I'm limited in which lacquers I have that stamp during my trip.
Till next time!

Pin It Now!
On to the nail stuff!

This is a follow up to my manicure yesterday, if you missed it see it HERE. Although I really like the base colour, of course I couldn't leave it alone and had to add stamping.

I used Inglot Nail Enamel No.341 and then stamped with Sally Hansen Royal Purple Chrome.
The design is off of Bundle Monster plate BM-210.

NOTD: Inglot Nail Enamel No.341

Pin It Now!
On to the nail stuff!

I went from my super light mani yesterday (see it HERE) to a dark mani today. I normally prefer dark ones, especially like this one, Inglot Nail Enamel No.341, a blackened purple/grape with something in it to make it special.

I happen to pick this one up during my travels, In Poland (see my haul HERE), the home of Inglot but I do know that this company is in North America now too.
I did 3 coats as usual, the formula was good and dried in normal time. The photos taken are outdoors on a cloudy day.
In the close up on the nail, you can really see what make this one so special, there's silver/purple/blue micro flakes in it. I wonder how many other Inglot lacquers there are like this one in their line. So far I've really only come across cremes.

Till next time!
